"Imran Khan became the Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2018....."

Pakistan, the part of Bharat which was separated in 1947 is going through political turmoil. There was a change of government recently. As per the tradition the 22nd Prime minister was also taken down without letting him complete his tenure. On the night of April 9th 2022, no confidence motion was passed and PM Imran khan lost it, making him the first ever PM of Pakistan to be taken down with a no confidence motion. Shehbaz Sharif, the younger brother of Nawaz Sharif is the new Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Imran Khan became the Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2018. Since then, this man has tirelessly worked to bring his country on the top of lists like Terrorism, Debt, Unemployment, Selling Pakistani girls to China, canvassing for terror groups, getting isolated by the global powers and many more. He was like the best PM of Pakistan from the perspective of Bharat. But somewhere he forgot that the Pakistani army is the rule setter in Pakistan. It was General Qamar Javed Bajwa who made him Prime Minister and it was him who took him down.

Imran Khan had forgotten that how Pakistani Army took down Nawaz Sharif and put him in jail by giving the reason of Panama Papers. Nawaz Sharif was going little off track. He was striving to improve relations with Bharat. The accidental visit of PM Narendra Modi tells it. PM Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Bharat for PM Modi’s oath taking ceremony acknowledges this fact. Pakistan was literally on a good track, the GDP showed positive growth and the trade deficit was low. Since Imran Khan became the PM in 2018 things went totally opposite. Bharat itself faced terror attacks and frequent violation of ceasefire over LOC.

Moreover, Imran Khan isolated Pakistan from the Islamic world. He opposed Pakistan giving its army to support Saudi Arabia in Yemen war when he was in opposition and forced the then government to change its decision. This stopped the flow of funds from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan. He tried to bypass the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and tried to form another organization with the help of Turkish President Erdogan. This move of his further damaged the relations between Pakistan and the Islamic World. He further worsened the relationship with Bharat by continuously talking about Kashmir over global platforms and supporting their homebred terror outfits. Bharat is a bilateral trade partner of Pakistan. These activities of him hampered the trade relations and there was a price hike of necessary goods like sugar and vegetables.

As all the routes of loan were closed, he turned towards China for the same. China was ready with its “One Belt One Road” debt strategy. It immediately granted the loan in exchange of the Gwadar port and a proposal of building ‘China Pakistan Economic Corridor’. Moreover, China assured them to put up 10,000 factories at Gwadar port economic belt, which were never built. The Only thing Pakistan got from China is debt. Pakistan sold the fishing rights in Baluchistan to China. The local fishermen were thrown in jail for fishing. Pakistan even sold women to China. Moreover, there was unemployment and rising inflation. All these made his fellow citizens furious.

His tussle with the Pakistan army also played an important role. There was a tussle over extension to Gen. Bajwa as Army chief. Imran Khan was against it but had to give the extension. Appointment of Lt Gen. Nadeem Anjum as Director of ISI (Inter Services Intelligence) in place of Lt. Gen. Faiz Hamid. Imran Khan was against it but had to accept it. In a final shot Khan tried to sack Gen Bajwa before the no confidence motion but brutally got himself sacked.

Imran Khan openly came out in support of the Taliban. The involvement of Haqqanis in Taliban government told us how much ISI was involved in this stunt along with United States.

The last nail in the coffin was Imran Khan’s shift towards Russia. History is evident that Pakistan has always been a puppet of United States and the western block. Whether it was 1971 war or Soviet invasion of Afghanistan or 1999 Kargil war, Pakistan has always been pro West. After pulling out troops from Afghanistan, US asked Pakistan land for a military base. Pakistan refused it. Imran Khan was openly condemning US that ‘US ditched Pakistan after using it for several decades’ on global media and especially China. His visit to Russia was the one which validated Imran Khan’s motive to change the foreign policy. But he had forgotten that foreign policy is decided by Rawalpindi not Islamabad. After the announcement of no confidence motion, Gen Bajwa publicly condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine and declared that Pakistan as always supports US.
